Anna Silk

Anna Silk is a Canadian actor who was born on the 31st of January 1974. Her most well-known role is as Bo from the Showcase television show Lost Girl. Silk was a native of Fredericton, New Brunswick in Canada. Ilkay is the producer and director of drama in St. Thomas University, is Silk's mom. Her father, Peter is an academic. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna is able to recall her first experiences when she was at rehearsals for play with her mom. Silk featured in a number of commercials as a child. She was in 1997 when she received a bachelor's degree at St. Thomas University. Theatre St. Thomas produced two of its first productions: Seven Menus, and The Kitchen. Silk relocated from Toronto in the year 1999 to Los Angeles within the decade following 1999. Seth Cooperman was her future spouse when she first was introduced to him at an Actors' Workshop at the Actors' Workshop in Los Angeles. In 2009, they were married civilly in December 2009. When she converted to Judaism, they renew their vows in the Jewish ceremony on the 10th of April 2011. The ceremony was held in Fredericton. Silk was blessed with an infant son Samuel Jerome Cooperman in May 2013. Levi Aaron was her second born baby on May 13, 2016. Silk's TV work has included her part in Being Erica as Cassidy Holland in which she was awarded an Gemini Awards nod in 2009. Silk was cast in the lead role in the role of Bo Dennis, a succubus, on the television show Lost Girl. Silk became pregnant during filming of season three's finale and announced this to the viewers during Showcase's Season Three Pre-Show Special on the 6th of January, 2013. Silk posted on Twitter on June 20, 2013 that she was ready to return to working. The 4th of June 2013, Showcase and Prodigy Pictures officially revealed the launch of production of the fourth season. CNN Cable News Network named Bo together with Lauren Zoie Palmer, as the same-sex couple in Lost Girl to be one of the top television Couples of all time. E! Magazine declared them Top TV Couples of 2013 Entertainment Television. As a result of Silk's popularity Silk has earned a significant internet following via social media.
