Yael stone, a New York City Australian resident, played Lorna the character of Morello Orange Is the New Black in 2013. Yael graduated from NIDA. Yael was fortunate enough at a young age to have worked with the best storytellers and performers in Australia along with pioneers working in the television, film and theatre industry. Yael's career is rich throughout Australia. A continuing collaboration with Australia's much-lauded director Neil Armfield culminated in the internationally-renowned production Diary of a Madman, in which she starred opposite Academy- Emmy- and Tony Award-winning actor Geoffrey Rush. Yael's move to New York City began when the production received a prestigious review by the Brooklyn Academy of Music. Yael co-founded The Cannery. The Cannery is located within Bushwick Brooklyn and is based in the city to promote creative writing, innovative ideas and new work.
