Srushti is preparing to take the UPSC test in her third year of engineering studies. She was unsure if engineering is an appropriate career path for her. In the end, she realized that civil service was what she loved and focused on it. The parents of her encouraged her to pursue civils, and find a job serving the public. She did not lose motivation, and remained focused solely at her dream to become an IAS. To be eligible for UPSC, you have to do more. She used to study her engineering classes and study for UPSC while also studying different subjects. She allocated time for this examination preparation each day. In just over one month and a half it was time to prepare for her exam in engineering and completely avoided all social media. She believes that focusing solely on what needs to be done is the key to passing the exam. She was determined to get through the exam with ease, and she did a lot of work. Each day, she was reading the newspapers to stay abreast on the current news. Rajya Sabha TV, online resources and other study tools were of great assistance to her. IAS Srushti Deskmukh Book IAS Srushti Deskmukh has written and published a book called The Answer Writing Guide. It is in libraries in all the states of India. This is a great book to everyone IAS hopefuls who are working hard to pass this exam.
