Tessa Thompson

The actress Tessa Lynn Thompson was born on the 3rd of October 1983 in Los Angeles, California. The actress is the daughter musician and singer Marc Anthony Thompson and the grandchild of musician-actor Bobby Ramos. The family lived as a child in Los Angeles before moving to Brooklyn, New York. Her mother has Mexican as well as British Isles roots, while her father is African-Panamanian. Thompson attended Santa Monica High School, which was where she performed in numerous productions of the theatre. The years that followed her graduation, she enrolled at Santa Monica College where she received a degree in cultural anthropology.
