Loren Gray

Gray's peers encouraged her to take up social media. She has since had more success on the platform than the rest of her friends. Her success was so great on the application that her mother used it only to monitor her. Loren's acclaim on musical.ly spread to social media. The videos of Gray were uploaded to YouTube from random viewers who reacted to them. Gray's friends were not happy about her success. They turned against her instead of supporting it. Some of her friends even shut down their accounts, and then began to smack Loren. Loren admitted in an UPROXX interviewthat "They wrote horrible things about me, that I was not talented, that I'm rude, and that I've got lip fillers and I've had some work done. I've always been anorexic with albinism. There was a lot of talk about how they likely to take me over and I was in the school's bathroom messaging my mom to tell she I was worried." Loren's mom grew concerned about her daughter's mental health and decided to take Loren out of the school. Her mother couldn't stand watching her child suffer due to her classmates.
